I took this picture of all of us at the event:

Global Bug Jam - Århus (Denmark) - 21/02 2009
We had problems connecting to Launchpad the most of the day. So we didn't really do anything. None of us had ever triaged bugs before, so we were just talking about Ubuntu/Linux.

A few pictures from our event today.

- No we did not drink anything. Someone just found a few bottles behind a door, so we spent some time taking a picture of them ;)

Ubuntu 8.04 Release Party - A success
Yesterday, Saturday the 26th April, the Danish LoCo-team celebrated the release of Ubuntu. Around 50 people visited the event, and the talks performed by Mads Chr. Olesen and Carsten Agger were great. And some people also said that about my talk on the new features in Hardy Heron, even though I only used about 4 hours on preparing my presentation, due to some problems in my family.
Mads talked about a software he is developing, called MultiADM. MultiADM is a software for managing and updating Debian-based systems, currently with support for the content management system Typo3, and he is also planning to make support for other systems. The software is espec

Guide to internet on the 3-network using Huawei E220 usb-modem in Ubuntu
This guide is the english translation of the danish guide i wrote for Ubuntudanmark a few days ago. The danish guide can be found here

This guide tells how to setup an internet connection for the Danish 3-Network, using the Huawei E220 USB-modem. This setup might work on other 3-networks around the world by editing init5 to the proper domain.

There are various ways to setup the modem, one of them is using the Vodafone-software, a (danish) guide for this can be found here
I have chosen to do it the way as described in this guide, because I did not get the Vodafone-software to work properly.

Edit /etc/wvdial.conf with a text-editor like nano or ged

Big update on Blackcave.dk
I have made a few changes to site. The most important of them all, is the rss-feed. I actually thought I had a feed on the site, but realized that I had not. The feed will bring you the latest posts in my blog.

The urls for the blog has been rewritten so it looks better. Instead of those horrible urls like http://blackcave.dk/blog.php?post=4, the site now uses urls like http://blackcave.dk/blog.php/4 and the same with categories: http://blackcave.dk/blog.php/cat/linux. The old urls not just look ugly, but some search engines might not index pages that are generated dynamically like those. The way I have done it with the new urls, are not the best way to
